Track CARA hours and export a report

Snack counts athletic activity hours and flags athletes near the limit.

What gets counted

CARA stands for countable athletically related activities. Snack tracks hours automatically from what athletes watch:

  • CARA — time spent on assigned content.
  • Non-CARA — time spent on content athletes choose on their own.

Set up

Owners and admins open CARA Reports and follow CARA setup:

  • Pick your sport and division.
  • In season hours — 20 by default.
  • Out of season hours — 8 by default.
  • Warning percent — 80 by default. Athletes at or above this share of the weekly limit get a warning status.
  • Week starts on — Sunday by default.

Select Save CARA settings. Owners, admins, and editors can view the report.

Export

Select Export CSV. Columns: Athlete, Email, Group, CARA Hours, Non-CARA Hours, Total Hours, Season Mode, Date Range, Created By, and Warning Status.

CARA Compliance Reporting is a free add-on for athletics teams.
